Palm sync and entourage versions

I have been using Office 10.0.0 and it works fine. When I try to update
(10.1.4) using the downloads on mactopia in order to sync Entourage with my
Palm T3, it asks for my serial number again which no longer works. This is a
purchased version and the SN should continue to work. Do I need to buy the
10.1.x version after just buying the 10.0.x version? I thought this was a
free update.

You have to do the updates in a few increments: 10.1.2, then 10.1.4, then
10.1.5. You can't go straight from 10.0.0 to 10.1.4.

If you are having this trouble updating from 10.0.0 to 10.1.2, then you'll
have to get in touch with Microsoft Customer Service, with your CD key and
some sort of proof of purchase in hand. There were a lot of illegally
"purchased" (so-called super-discount CDs, made from pirated copies) and MS
was aware of the codes and blocked upgrades. If you have a legitimate code,
they'll either help you get the updates working or will give you a new code.
