Palm sync fails every single time:(

Hi,

Today I upgraded to Office 2004 and installed the conduit for Entourage so
that I can sync with my Palm but, the sync process crashes every single time
if the conduit is set to sync Notes. The hotsync log shows:

Syncing Address Book
Syncing Address Book
Syncing Notes
The Handheld database could not be opened
Failed Entourage Conduit (0x4004)

And the Address Book does appear to have sync'd correctly. When I disable
sync'ing Notes in the conduit, then all my sync's complete normally and
things look to be OK.

My configuration is as follows:

MacOS 10.3.5
Missing Sync for PalmOS
Office 2004
Tungsten T3

I've done a complete reinstallation of both Office and Missing sync,
repaired permissions, cleaned caches, fsck'd, trashed preferences, rebuilt
the Entourage DB, and nothing has changed this behavior. Oh, and the
Microsoft Database Daemon is not running either.

Any help/suggestions are appreciated. This is driving me nuts.

Hi,
Delete all preference files for
Entourage(User\Library\Preferences\com.apple.microsoft.entourage.plist and
in \Microsoft folder entourage settings and entourage preferences) and Palm
(User\documents\Palm \conduit settings)
You may delete all this folder Palm, when you'll re-sync it, it will be
recreated.

Thanks for the suggestion, but it didn't fix the problem. So, I ended up
deleting the Memos application database from my Palm and that did fix the
problem. Looks like it was corrupt.
