Passcode Protecting a page in FrontPage XP

I am working on our department's intranet site and have
been asked if FrontPage XP includes the ability to
passcode protect a section so that only individuals with
this passcode can enter this area.

Any help anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated.

The best way to do this is configuring the server to require
authentication for those subwebs.

It really depends on the hosting server, what OS it is.
Either way, it can be done, but you'll need to contact
the hosting servers administrator to find out. The other
way is to just create directory, place your files in
there and then use some sort of script to help you in
protecting the directory, with user names and passwords.
I would recommend using a database for this, securing it
even more. Check with your sys admin for more details and
see what they recommend.

Best of Luck
