Does anyone know how I can pass a cell address into a
worksheet function?
I am trying to calculate averages on datasets that are
updated on each opening of the workbook. For example, I
am calculating a 1 yr avg, 2 yr avg, 5 yr avg. etc.
The dataset will download 10 years of historical data
based on the start date which is generated using the
function today(). I then have a set of cells that
calculate the 1yr, 2yr, 5yr required historical dates.
I was trying to use the VLOOKUP or MATCH functions - to
locate these historical dates in the data set and then
pass the cell address offset by one column to the average
function so that the range is inclusive. However, I have
had no luck finding a way to pass addresses to worksheet
functions. If anyone has any ideas - they would be much
appreciated.
Thank you for your time,
