Password problem with Entourage 2004 and Exchange

I've been running Entourage 2004 on OS 10.3.4 for several weeks now,
and use it to check both my .mac account and my work Exchange account.
Both sets of passwords are stored in my keychain.

Recently, my Exchange account will frequently prompt me for my
password, even though it is stored in my keychain. This happens for an
entire day, approximately one day each week now. I start off fine, but
within an hour of arriving at work, I get the first prompt. After
reentering my password, the prompts for to reenter my password happen
at more frequent intervals. Restarting Entourage or the Mac itself
solves the problem for a little while (so it's not that my password
was incorrect), but then it all starts again. I've run keychain first
aid and also reset my password on the Windows end of things, but the
problem persists. Strangely, it disappears for days at a time, but
when it does recur, nothing I do seems to stop the problem for the
entire day. I am the only Mac user at work, so I'm kind of out of luck
with our tech support team. Might anyone out there have experienced
similar problems and is there a potential solution? The network
environment is Win 2003. There is no problem with Entourage forgetting
my .mac password, incidentally, so it's just on the Exchange side of
things. Thanks!

I've seen the same thing here when I was using one of the mirrors we
have for our Exchange server. It was entirely fixed when I switched to
another mirror. You wouldn't happen to have the same option, would you
??

Thanks very much for your response. It was a back-end server
configuration issue, which appears to be solved, although I can't say
I know exactly what they did on the back end to fix it.

I'm glad you got it to work I suspect that it was the same problem here
even though the Network people tends to be very secretive about all this
