I was replying to an e-mail and had copied a couple of lines of text from a
web-page which I wanted to paste (as text) into my reply.
I don't grant internet access to text editors and apparently it tried to
connect to the internet and was denied access.
After about 10 minutes, it finally pasted DIFFERENT text because in the
intervening time, I had gone on to other work and had copied something else
and THAT text appeared.
I tried looking for a "Paste Special", "Paste as plain text", but didn't see
one under the Edit menu (even after expanding it).
Perhaps there is a way to tell Outlook that I do NOT want my replies to be
composed in PLAIN TEXT, or at the very least RTF?
This is ridiculous - it took me 30 minutes to compose a simple e-mail that
should have taken 30 seconds. (10 minutes for the first paste, another 10
for the 2nd, and another 10 to configure news and post this).
