Pasting a downloaded Tiff object into a Publisher document

Our church secretary and I have tried this with the same results. After we
get the image properly positioned and cropped, we click on the Save button
but the document isn't saved and the image disappears. The outline of the
image remains but we are unable to get the image to reappear. We're using
Office 2003 SP3; is this a bug?

Doctor: "Well, don't turn your head just like that then!"

Serious answer: Don't paste pictures into Publisher from the web. Save
to a local hard disk and import them using Insert > Picture > From File.

Cute, slightly arrogant, reply. I assume that your reply explains the
procedure we should have followed rather than the procedure we were
following. Thanks for a quick reply.
