Pasting animated GIF into PowerPoint?

How do you take an animated GIF from Wikipedia (with credit) and paste
it into a PowerPoint presentation?

Without using PowerPoint, I can save the file as a GIF. Then I can open
it using QuickTime Player to play it. How do I transfer the GIF file
into a PowerPoint slide and have it play properly?
