Paul Berkowitz's iCal & Address Book sync scripts

Does anyone know if Paul's scripts are still compatible with the newest
updates of Entourage/Office 2004?

Are they still 2 separate apps or have they been merged into one? I read
some areas on line where this was suggested, but am not sure if it was
actually done.

I'd like to take advantage of the fact that I can sync my iPod with iCal &
Address Book, but I don't really want to work outside of Entourage.

Is there anything that I need to do on the iCal/Address side before hand to
facilitate the best and most accurate sync process? So that categories, to
do items, etc. will move over.

Does this sync any Entourage notes that I have also? If so, where does it
get merged into?

Thanks for any help or advice that you can give me as I look into these
options. One last question. Does anyone know if there's a trial period for
the scripts or do you have to purchase them before you can even try them
out?

Two separate apps. I never thought it would be fair to people who had
purchased just one (Address Book, which came first, generally) to do it
otherwise. In any case, they actually have to be two separate scripts in any
case.

You don't get categories synching to iCal calendars, nor categories synching
to address book groups, using SyncServices, only with my scripts. Also my
scripts don't suddenly delete everything, as apparently can happen sometimes
with Sync Services.

14 days full-featured free demo period. All the information is in the ReadMe
of each script. The first sync will be very slow. Then it should be fast
after that.

Since I'm still using Panther, I'm not sure that I have "SyncServices"--at
least I'm not familiar with it. I was just planning on using your scripts
to sync iCal & Entourage, then use iSync to sync iCal to the iPod.

Does that sound correct?

One problem that I did have with a test sync (just between iCal & the
iPod--haven't used your script yet) was that when the calendar items landed
on the iPod, there was a 6 hour difference. The time, time zone, and DST
seem to be correct on the iPod, iCal, and my Mac Powerbook. Any ideas what
could be causing this difference?

That's right, Sync Services requires OS X 10.4.3 (Tiger), according to the
update site:

In any case, you don't need to worry about it if you're using Paul's
scripts.
