pen color pallette shortcut

I would like to change the color of my pen while the presentation is running
in slide show mode. Is there anyway to do that through a keyboard shortcut?
or a macro or something? either that or is there a shortcut to bring up the
color palette without having to right click with the mouse.
Its very frustrating to click with the mouse on each slide to change the
color.
