Permanent Delete Directly from Inbox

I'm moving over to Mac Entourage 2004 from Outlook 2003. One feature I
liked in Outlook was the ability to permanently delete a message directly
from the Inbox (or any mail folder). To do this you just held down the
Shift key while you deleted the message. This caused the message not to be
sent to the Deleted Items folder. Is there a similar command in Entourage
2004? This would be very helpful. Thanks.

Try the Entourage version of the "Nuke Attachments" script available here:

Once installed, the shortcut is preset to Control-D.

This does exactly what I was looking for. Maybe MS can build in this
functionality to the next release of Entourage.
