Permanently Rename or Reassign a Column Header

I adopted a project file and some of the user defined columns have a new name
attached to them. This is within the "Field Name" field - NOT the "Title"
field. In other words, the previous owner took "Text 30" and renamed it
"POC." Now the Field Name shows as "POC (Text 30)." I am adding some Text
columns but I do not know which ones have already been used. Therefore, I
run the risk of entering 2 "Text 2" columns. Is there a way in the insert
Column view to see that a column is already in serted and it is called
something?

Hi,

No, but it is not dramatic to enter it twice: it will show exactly the same
data.
Some even do that on purpose when the tables get large.
View, table..., More tables, edit gives youa list of inserted columns.
