Person Names Smart Tag won't display

I've tried enabling the Person Names Smart Tag in Outlook 2003's Options dialog box, but the option keeps defaulting back to deselected. I select the option, click "Apply," then click "OK" to close the dialog box, but when I return to that dialog box again, the option is deselected

This feature was working fine and the Smart Tags were displaying as expected when I was using the trial version of Outlook 2003. Ever since I installed the "real" version, I can't get it to work

Any ideas why? Thanks!
