Personal Folders from Outlook 2001 for Mac in Entourage 2004

Finally with Entourage 2004, I have been able to read my mail at work which
uses Microsoft Exchange server. Previously, I have had to use Outlook 2001
for Mac (run under Classic) in order to "tie in" with the servers. BUT how do
I "import" the Personal Folders from Outlook 2001 into Entourage 2004? I
have tried "import" in the pull down menu, but Outlook 2001 for Mac is NOT
one of the choices, and when I "browse" and go to the file, it is "greyed" out.

There are tips at
<http://www.entourage.mvps.org/cross_platform/index.html#anchor-pst>.

You may find it easiest to boot up Outlook 2001 long enough to copy all of
your personal folders back over to the Exchange server. Then you can move
them to local Entourage folders.

Adam,

Thanks for the reply.

But, one of the main reasons that I have "Personal Folders" is that we are not
given much space on the server. Therefore, if I copied that folder to I would
either not be alowed as it would exceed my allotment or I could not use my
email program because it would not function with the space exceeded. I am
looking for a way to hopefully have Entourage 2004 "see" the file and be
able to read it. I could copy small folders onto the server and then move
them to the Personal Folder in Entourage, but that will take a lot of time. I'm
hopeful that there is a way to do it all in "one" step.

Thanks, again.
