Steve B.
I accidentally trashed the folder "Freecycle" to which a Mail(POP) rule
sends mail.
I created a new folder in the same place and named it "Freecycle" and, just
for good measure, edited the Mail rule (also called "Freecycle") and
selected the folder again.
This rule, "Freecycle", now sends mail to the new folder. However, I keep
getting a message which says:
"The mailing list rule "FreeCycleCentral" could not be successfully
executed.", and it tells me that it's because it can't finder the
destination folder.
The only problem is: I've been right through my rules and *there is no rule
called "FreeCycleCentral"*, nor any other rule which sends mail to the
"Freecycle" folder.
So some of my Freecycle mail ends up in my Inbox. If I select these messages
and apply the rule "Freecycle" they are moved to the Freecycle folder but,
if I select them and apply All Rules, they stay put in the Inbox.
Does anyone know what's going on here?
Thanks in advance,
Steve = : ^ )
P.S. For anyone who doesn't yet know about Freecycle, go to:
http://groups.yahoo.com/
and search for "Freecycle" and your nearest big town or city. There are
currently just over six and a half thousand groups globally.
