Phone browsers

I was hoping that someone might be able to shed some
light on detecting phone/PDA browsers and then
redirecting them to a different address. We operate
skyplan.com and we would like to redirect any cell phone
connections to eg: phones.skyplan.com where we would have
a text only site capable of being displayed on the phone
browser.

Would it be feasible to do a redirect using javascript or asp based on the
server variables collection to determine browser type?

You may also want to check out Microsoft's Mobile Internet Toolkit. It's
ASP.NET based, but it excels in this kind of thing more than anything else I
know of.
