Photo album

I used to print my own photo albums using templates that allowed for pictures
and text. Does anyone know of software/templates that will allow me to do
that now?

Publisher can be used but there's software specifically for photo albums.
I'm almost positive that Hallmark still makes a scrapbooking program.

What program are you using? You can make a photo album in Word, create a table.
Google has a pretty good free program

Yes, it is. It's used for doing desktop publishing work - very similar to
what you are asking about.
