Hi
I've switched from Outlook Express to Outlook XP with
Windows 2000 and since then am unable to open picture
attachments! I tried saving to harddrive first also, but
always get the same disturbing messages, when I click on
the picture (attachment - from email or from harddrive).
The only way for me to possibly view a picture that was
sent to me at any time by Outlook XP is to open it
directly from the picture program. This however is quite
annoying, as I won't be able to remember which pix were
sent and which I just downloaded or took myself or
whatever.
Here's what happens:
I click on a picture attachment and the picture program
opens. A pop-up appears: "unable to open the file
C:/Documents". After confirming this, a new pop-up appears:
"unable to open the file: C:\Program Files\"Picture
Program Folder i.e. Photoshop etc.\"Program name i.e
Photoshop etc.\and."
After that I get another pop-up, another extension of the
path before, leading into the settings, then temporary,
then internet stuff, and in the end the picture won't
open! Highly annoying!!!
If anyone has an idea, I would absolutely appreciate the
help!
thankx
