picture compression for large screen

Marian

I am creating a slideshow that will be shown on a very large screen
(6ft x 8ft) - and it is getting v large due to the number of pictures.
I have made a copy and compressed the pictures and it does make a
substantial saving, but I don't know whether this will make the
pictures look poor when they are shown on such a large screen, so am
not sure whether to carry on working on the original or compressed
version. Can anyone help?

Thanks

Projector resolutions rarely exceed 1048 x 768 pixels - as long as the images
onscreen look good at that or a higher resolution, you should have no problem
with the quality.

To be sure, why not enquire which projector (or other device) is being used
and work on that resolution.
