Pictures are flashing / blinking during editing

Hi, I have the problem that from time to time during
editing of any presentation all the animated object are
blinking (flickering) during editing, and powerpoint does
not accept anny command (it is still running ok according
to task mgr). After a while the flickering stops, right
after starting to edit of any item the blinking starts
again .... and after a LONG while it stops and I am able
to edit.
Any ideas ?

Markus,

I'd suggest updating your graphics card drivers. I'd also suggest turning
down the thing called graphics hardware acceleration.
