I think maybe I'm not understanding what I'm doing wrong, or not doing
at all.
I am using FrontPage 2002, the website is www.ABabyStork.com and the
images are .gif files on the upper left and upper right. Also, when I
do a background, I'm going to want to exclude it from the top bar where
those .gifs and the Word art is. How do I do that?

Thanks In Advance!

Ok, I found this "import the image to a location inside your web and
then relink to it. " Can you rephrase that in "First day using
FrontPage" idiotspeak, please? How do I relink to it? I figured out
how to import it, I resaved and re FTP'ed the site, but it's still the
same.

Kelp!

I'm so sorry, I swear I'm NOT a complete dunce! The hit counter just
says "Hit counter". Ugh! Perhaps I should get some sleep!

Ok, all of a sudden they are showing up. ??? But they're hyperlinked.
I'm not going to worry about that for now... but they're not animated.
Back to the drawingboard! LOL!

The hit counter will not work if you use FTP. The web must be http
published to a server running the FrontPage extensions
File->Publish, then type in the destination in the form
http://www.example.com

File->Import the images into a folder in your web site. Then open the
page, delete the existing image, place the curser where you want the
replacement image, then use the mouse to drag the image from the
folder onto the page, dropping it at the curser.

Your images do not show in Internet Explorer or Netscape8 in IE mode,
but do show in Opera, FireFox and Netscape 8 in FireFox mode. However
the Word Art (or rather the low quality .gif replacement) looks bad in
Netscape, FireFox and Opera.
I am not an image expert, so have no suggestions other than redo those
images in your graphics program.

WordArt uses VML graphics, which can only be seen in its full glory in
Internet Explorer. Other browsers will see a poor quality .gif
representation, or nothing at all. VML also uses absolute
positioning, which may give you more problems later.

Your image are not showing up because you did not have a web open when you saved the page in FP, so
the link to the image point back to your HD.
