Placement of Signature Entourage 2004

Has anyone experienced a problem with their signature placement in posting
to a newsgroup versus a direct reply to a participant in the newsgroup? I
set preference to have my signature block automatically appear at top of a
message. This works when I create a new message (such as this one) or reply
directly to a participant in the newsgroup, but not when I reply to a
message and post it to the newsgroup itself. Is this just a bug or is there
a special option for signature placement when posting a reply to a
newsgroup?
