plain text message appears as attachment?

Hi,

For a couple of days now, all plain text email messages (
that I sent or that I receive) are shown in Outlook 2002
to have an attachement that has the name of the subject of
the mail and extension txt.
Other mail clients do not show any attachment of the mail
text.

How can I get rid of this sudden behaviour?
