I think Movie Maker files are NOT embedded in the
presentation, but linked as external files. You may have a
path problem.
After copying your presentation and the accompnaying files
on the target machine, open the presentation and go the
slide(s) in question. Right click on the object and note
the path. If you are lucky, the system may even prompt you
to give the correct path.
If you are unlucky, you may suffer from a tricky
PowerPoint/Media Player/codec problem that I witnessed
myself with wmv files (they play correctly with Media
Player, but fail when inserted in a presentation).

to play within the presentation. My client is using
Windows 2000 and although the presentation works fine on
my machine, the movie will not play in the presentation
when transfered to a machine running 2000 but will play in
the Media Player. Is there something that I can do to
enable the movie to play in the presentation on a 2000
machine?

my client and am using Movie maker to create short movies-----Original Message-----
I am creating a PowerPoint presentation as a tutorial for
to play within the presentation. My client is using
Windows 2000 and although the presentation works fine on
my machine, the movie will not play in the presentation
when transfered to a machine running 2000 but will play in
the Media Player. Is there something that I can do to
enable the movie to play in the presentation on a 2000
