Playing MIDI sounds on ALL pages

I have been working on a webpage for the school I go to. I loaded in a MIDI
to play when the Index page opens, but as soon as someone clicks on one of
the bottons to go elseware on the site, the MIDI (of course) stops. When you
click the back botton, it starts over. Can I set ip up so that all the links
comming off the indax page open in a new window? (so that the Index page is
still open) and if it is still open will the music continue to play?

Any other ideas would be helpful.
