Please Help - cannot send messages

Hello, I'm a new entourage user. I imported my outlook inbox into
entourage, and for the last two days have been receiving emails fine,
but just realized that no one has been receiving MY emails. I have
toggled the SMTP settings back and forth (from requiring
authentication to not), and have the box checked that indicates SSL.
Nothing seems to work, and I'm slightly desperate, as I'm working from
a home office and no one in my organization (Technology-wise) supports
Mac users.

I am using a Pop account.

I am using a Pop account.

When you first set up Entourage and you enter account info it allows you to
verify the account. Did you do this? If not, create a new Identity in
Entourage. Under Entourage in the menu bar select Switch Identity. Select to
create a New Identity. Call it Test. When the screen comes up for accounts
be sure to verify. Remember what you write down that works.

Try with no Advanced setting under SMTP.

If you continue to have problems you can install a network application
tcpflow to monitor the traffic between your Mac and your ISP to see what is
