Please help! Events?!

Whenever I try to set an event, Entourage doesn't recognize it.... It
sets it with a different date. I've set the time zone properply and
several times to reassure that everything is ok... but it keeps with
the same bug. I don't know what to do more... Thanks! Ti

Please describe the sequence of steps you are taking (and what result you
see) in more detail - I'm afraid 'entourage doesn't recognise it' doesn't
really provide sufficient information :)

It's like this... I try to create an event, for example, today, after
I've saved it, the date that is set is Dec 6th. This same happens when
I want to create a birthday event. The date is always changed for its
correspondent in December.

Please can you tell me what regional settings you are using for date & Time
system prefs?

If you switch to English/USA settings, does the problem still occur? (you
will need to restart entourage after changing the system prefs)

I was using Portuguese. Do I have to keep it in English to keep it
right? It would be great to have it in my home language.

Thanks a lot for your help I was becoming deseperate!

I'm guessing it is a bug that needs to be fixed by MS - there have been a
couple of similar type bugs in the past with brazilian settings which is
what put me on to it.

I will report the bug, but unfortunately, I suspect that you are going to
have to stay in English system for now - check again next month, often these
bugs only show up for particular months in the year (which is how they got
missed in testing).

I have had it confirmed that this is a known issue that is 'being tracked'.
The same thing happens with any Spanish language settings, apparently, and
the only work-round at this time is to use English language settings. Sorry
:(
