Stupid question. But, by chance did you save your presentation to a floppy disk?

What is the exact file name you are trying to open including the extension?
I.E. ocpictures.ppt. How are you trying to open it? Are you double
clicking on the file or opening PowerPoint and trying to open it by
navigating to it? Try opening from within PowerPoint and report the
results.

Howdy Katie Girly Girl,

First, PowerPoint, and especially a PowerPoint about the
OC is NOT important enough to cry about!

Second, how are you getting these pictures on the show the
OC? If you're directly copying and pasting them from a
web site, that's probably your problem.

Do let us know, however also be aware that there may be
copyright issues with using OC pictures...

Waiting for your response,
Glenna

This will be of no use now but for the future do version control backups:
i.e.
After each major change in the presentation or every two or three hours of
development on the presentation save under a new name with an incremental
number or letter in the filename> Pres(1).ppt, Pres(2).ppt etc.
This has saved my bacon on many occasions when a complex animation has
started to misbehave for example.
Good luck!
John
