I am using Small Business Server 2003 and have only one
user on my network That gets the error: The connection to
Microsoft Exchange Server is unavailable. Outlook must be
online or connected to complete this action. I am trying
to create this users default exchange mail account. I am
right clicking on the desktop icon - properties - putting
in the location of the server - her ID and choose select
and get this error. Her ID can access mapped drives to the
server. I can access the users mail on another client. I
also tried to un-install and reinstall Outlook and the
same condition occurs. I verified the DNS/WINS settings
were the same as another client on the network. Internet
Explorer or Outlook are not set to work online. I can also
ping the server from the client. Any suggestions greatly
appreciated.
