Ed Langley

PLEASE! I made a really nice business card in Publisher 2000, and tried to
take to Printer in the "Pack" mode but they could not open it. Any way to
save it so WORD could open it? Thanks for advice. Anyone care to look at
it and tell me if there is a better way to compose it?
I really appreciate any help.

Visit www.primopdf.com and install the free pdf software. Print your
business card to the primo pdf printer driver to create a PDF, and take the
PDF to your printer.

If you're retired why would you require a business card?!

Send the card to me and I will help... I can convert it to a PDF. Let me know what
you need.

(I know I always say this, but it DID happen to me!) I finally sent the
printing service packed and unpacked versions of the same files - he could
open the unpacked ones without a problem. The "packed" ones he couldn't open
(both of us using 2002.) I always just send him unpacked files now.

(The PDF route sounds good though.)

the packaged Pack And Go stuff includes the puz file, the extractor, and
a readme. Sometimes there are multiple puz files.

note: if you have two documents and try to PnG them into the same folder,
I think the second will overwrite the first since the filename used is
always the same.

I've never been unable to open a puz with the extractor. you can't open
it *without* the extractor (like with WinZip or something).

I'm retired and have a "business card". Probably should be called an
"info" card for it carries Dad, Mom & Daughter's address, phone
number, fax number and e-mail address. Even us old souls meet new
folks and want a way to facilitate future contact with them.

Or is it so that the police can take you home when you go wandering and
can't remember where you live?! ;o) <eg>
