POP account leaves mail on server ?trial limitation

Hi, recently migrated to mac and am having a look at 2004 office for mac, 30 day trial version. With entourage and setting up pop accounts, the check box to "leave a copy on the server" in grey out so i cannot change this option. Is this just a limitation of the trial version or am i doing something wrong? thanks.

It's a function of the trial version, but I wouldn't call it a limitation.
If you choose not to purchase a full version of Entourage, you'd be screwed
if your email was now saved into the trial version. So they leave it on the
server in case you go elsewhere - you can re-download it into the email
client of your choice.
