I am experiencing an issue where Entourage downloads the messages but
then will not display them in the inbox as being received. Then at a
random time will suddenly show many messages all being received at the
same time? For example you'll hit send receive at 9:00am, progress
indicator will show downloading 15 messages, nothing shows in the inbox
then randomly at say 12:05 you'll recieve a chunk of messages all time
stamped 12:05.
I have tried rebuilding the database using the built in db utility, and
the problem still exists. My next step will be to extract all of the
messages from that Identity and import them into a new identity.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? If so please reply with any
suggested fixes or experiences with this problem.
Entourage 11.2.3 configured for POP access, Mac OS X 10.4.6, identity
size 1.25gb.
