POP to IMAP

I have browsed the topics and cant really find what I am looking
for. I am going to be moving everyone in the company from POP to
IMAP because they can then check it from where ever they are. My
concern is how to move there messages but moreover there folders over
as well. My next concern is the date and time stamp. Does anyone
know of a program or maybe a how to, for this? If anyone has any
insight please share with me.

There is no import for messages and folders from POP to IMAP. You'll need to
drag them over. You might just consider leaving the current mail "on their
computer" and start fresh with the new incoming mail.

I would do that but they would not understand the difference, that is
why I need to combine it all. You sure drag and drop will copy it
back to the server?

It's pretty easy to test. Drag it over. Create a new Identity in Entourage
with the IMAP account. Clicking on the account should show all of the
messages.

When I've moved people to IMAP I've taken their Entourage Identity,
imported it into Apple Mail, then used Mail to move the saved mail &
folders to the server by simply dragging the folders to the correct
place in the hierarchy.

Works well and is a big time saver compared to other methods.

Cheers,
Jon
