POP3 mail problem

I set up 3 new machines running XP Pro on a SBS 4.5
network connecting via proxy server 2.0. All apps are
fully updated. All have working internet access and
internal email. Two of the new clients get internet email,
one machine will not get internet email via outlook2k.
The "cannot find this POP3 server" error pops up. All
three were set up identically. I have deleted and reset
the internet mail account and looked at every
configuration setting I can find. Any ideas for a likley
culprit?
