Pop3 server keeps resending messages

I have my outlook client for a Pop3 server set to leave a copy of the
messages on the server for 90 days. Usually this works fine, but I have
noticed that if I lose my internet connection while my client is downloading
messages, I seem to receive messages a secod time as they did not get marked
as "Received" on the server side.

Does anyone know how I can mark the message as "Received" as soon as I get
the message, rather than waiting until I have received all of the messages
before they get marked as "received" on the server??

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
