Port 80 Error

Hello,

When I try to create a new web I get an error message
that says "Could not find a web server at 'Ben' on port
80." Can somebody tell me how to fix this. I am running
FrontPage 2003 on Windows XP.

Hi Ben,

Are you trying to create your new web on your HD? If not,
that could be your problem, change the destination of
your new web to make sure it'll be created on your HD.

Are you by any chance running Yahoo IM?
If so shut it down, as it claims / uses port 80
for it's P2P file sharing feature.

If that's not it post back as to whether you
are running XP Home or Pro.

WinXP Pro? Do you have IIS5.1 web server installed and the www publishing
service running? Do you have the FP server extensions installed and
configured?
