Portrait and Landscape in same slideshow

Using PowerPoint 2002 - I want to have a portrait slide
in my slideshow. I followed the help instructions, to
insert a slide from another slideshow that was setup in
portrait, but it doesn't work. It does not appear in
portrait. What am I missing?

You're not missing anything. PowerPoint cannot have different orientations
in the same slideshow. Check out the following link for more info:
