possible to add e-mail security?

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: intel
Email Client: pop

This seems like it should be possible to me, but I can't find any help on this: I do our company print layouts but when I'm away, staff need to have access to the files but I don't want them to have access to my emails when they open Entourage.

Is there a way to add a login/security feature to prevent others from accessing my messages but lets them log in to their own email account?

Such security is at the OS level. Create a separate user account on your
computer for other users and leave your layouts in a shared folder that
other users can access.

I would not let them your user account. Create a new user account for
them and place the files you need to share in /Users/Shared/
This way they'll have access only to what they are supposed to have
access to,
