Possible to customise toolbars in Entourage 2004?

Abhay

I have newly started using Entourage 2004. All other programs I have
used - Outlook, Outlook Express, Thunderbird, Mail - allow me to tweak
the toolbars to my liking. Entourage does not seem to allow that - I
just can't find a way to change the toolbar contents. Is there
something I am missing?

What I am trying to achieve: I want to get the "Send Now" button off
the toolbar. I hate having messages go out immediately - I want them to
be in the Outbox in case I reconsider something immediately on hitting
send. With the buttons placement on the Compose window toolbar, the
left-most button is send now, so choosing "Send Later" has to be a
conscious choice each time! Is there a way to change this other than by
customising the toolbar - for instance, but changing the behavior of
the "Send Now" command?

Please help!

Warm regards,
Abhay

Hi,
sorry, no, that can't be done (yet). It has been requested a number of times
on this newsgroup, so I hope that eventually, Microsoft will listen. You
might want to consider using keyboard shortcuts instead of clicking on
toolbar icons; enter "keyboard shortcut" in Entourage's help to get a list
of commonly used shortcuts. For instance, Cmd+Return immediately sends the
currently open message, Shift+Cmd+Return places it in the outbox.

Thanks a ton for clearing that up! I hope this gets fixed soon. I do
know about the keyboard shortcut, but was hoping I could fix the
toolbar too. :(
