Possible to customize toolbar?

This is Entourage 11, is there a way to remove the "Print" icon and the
"Junk" icon from the toolbar? It's very hard to click the Trash icon while
it's surrounded by those two icons.

Not yet; likely in a forthcoming update.

Meanwhile, is there a way to hack it to disable the "Print" icon? I get so
mad whenever I hit that button.

No. If you're clicking aim is poor, why not use keyboard commands? Just
click Delete to delete - you don't even need the command key (except for
open unsaved message windows, where's it supposed to be harder on purpose).
