possible to merge a calender with speadsheet

Hi, I'm trying create something for work where I can merge a calender with a
speadsheet to keep track of vacation days and such for employees. I'm not
sure if it is possible or not. To be more specific..... I want my excel
speadsheet to update whenever I update the calander. For example, if I put
Jack - Vacation day 9/1 on the calender, my speadsheet which shows all my
employees will update Jack's vacation days taken.
