PowerPoint 2000/XPhome

When I open a series of pictures that i have saved in a seperate folder they
appear to be approx 5x7 in.
When I insert them into a presentation and save it and replay it the
pictures come out to be about 1x2 in,
I know I must have a setting wrong someplace but cannot figure out
what/where it is or what it should be to keep pics the same size
..........any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

When you first insert the images into the presentation, do they come in
at the right size? What you say below makes it sound as if they shrink
after you save the presentation.

Please clarify.
