Powerpoint 2002 : Increase maximum number of Bullet point indents

J

John

I'm using PowerPoint 2002.
I need to increase the maximum number of bullet point indents beyond the
limit of 5.
Is there any way to do this?
I imagine that there may be some utility available that enables a hidden
group of configurable settings to become accessible.

John,

I don't believe it's possible.

Powerpoint only allows 5 different levels in the 'body text' placeholder.

Sorry :(

John,

I would encourage you not to go that deep (5 levels) on your PowerPoint
slides. It's looking like you might be placing too much content on your
slides -- unless you are using PowerPoint for print, then I guess that's a
different story.

Good point!

Perhaps John will reply with what he is really trying to achieve...maybe he
wants more than 5 levels to achieve something else...like more styles per
slide perhaps?

cheers

Hi John

I'm in agreement with Sandy. If a client came to me wanting more than 5
levels on one slide I would see if we; a) needed to split that information
up over several slides/look at the structure of the whole presentation; b)
could put some of the deeper level information into handouts (while the
presenter could still share this information orally); c) should combine a) &
b); d) would be able to work together at all ;-)

There is a really short but informative article on Garr Reynold's excellent
blog here:
