Powerpoint 2003 - adding music.

I

I have created a 16 page powerpoint presentation and linked it to my website.
I added music in powerpoint which was copy from a CD to Window Medial
Player. Everything looks and sound good in power point. Once you go to my
website and download the presentation the music does not play? How do I fix
this?

Let's help you get centered around sounds and such.

1) Did you save the presentation to html or link the file to download to the
user?

2) What format and size where the sound files? Where were they when you
'inserted' them? (same folder or different)

3) Did you check out the faq? See:
**Send a presentation that opens automatically in email
http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/FAQ00341.htm
and

Do these get you where you need to be?

No prob,

First, when the presentation is all set, save the file. Then use the 'Save
As' and change the 'Save as type' to Web Page (HTML). There are several
options that you may wish to customize. Doing it this way 'should' include
the music.

When you 'insert' a music file into PowerPoint, you actually only link to
it. It does not embed the music into the presentation, just the link. So,
if you move the presentation (say to a web page) the link to the music file
is broken and the sounds will not play.

Look here for some additional info on saving up to the web
