powerpoint 97

I am taking a class for college online. I am in a team with others. We are
working on a powerpoint presentation. One of the other people in the class
has submitted the finished product for us to view and correct, however, when
I open it up, the title page is fine but the following pages are a totally
different template than she used and the title page. There are pics on all
the other pages, the pages are white, with a stack of brown books on the
right hand side and there are areas to click to add a title and click to add
text however all this has been already done by her on a totally different
template. It is really weird and has not happened in none of my other
classes. Everyone else in the class can see it just fine and tech support for
my school can see it just fine and has no clue to what is wrong. My comp is a
DELL and fairly new with windows XP, about 1 year old. Please help. Thanks.

I suspect you're seeing some compatibility issues -- but they do sound much
more severe than ones we usually see and hear about here, so it could be
something totally different.
