"PowerPoint found an error that it can't correct"
I have had this error for years now. It has followed me in Windows 98,
Windows 2000, using Powerpoint 97, 2000, and XP - no difference. I have
removed the Acrobat .ppa plug-ins and I have disabled NAV office scanning.
Nothing helps.
What do I do wrong? First of all, I do use movie files and/or flash
animations in my presentations. If I use neither, the error does not appear.
If I use only movies (by insert movie function) the error comes up.
Typically when I switch to another program or close/change presentation.
I can't really blame any other application, since it is Powerpoint who gives
the error without ANY indication of what the problem might be (crappy
programming indeed).
I would be very happy for any help, since it really makes my life talking at
conferences, and teaching very much harder. I have tried to find other
solutions, but there really isn't any which supports both flash and movie
objects in the presentations.
Sincerely,
Morten H Pedersen
