Powerpoint instance running in background after application is closed

P

Phillip Heim

We have a secretary who is a heavy user of powerpoint.
One problem that she continuously runs into is that when
she closes the powerpoint application, an instance of it
is still running in the background. Since this is
occurring, she has difficulty re-opening the
application. The only way for her to have a "clean"
session is to ctrl+alt+del and end the previous
powerpoint session. Is this a known problem? Does
anyone have a "fix" available that might aleviate our
pain? Thanks.
