PowerPoint Page Number Format

E

Eric

How do I change the number format in the placeholder if I want my slides
numbered 001, 002, 003, etc. Currently the field code comes up <#>
indicating it is a number. As in Excel, I would like to edit this field to
<###> so my page numbers would be 001, 002, 003 instead of 1, 2, 3 but I
cannot get in to edit the field. TIA.

This is not possible using PowerPoint's native page numbering abilities.

You will need to manually add these page numbers (as a new shape with the
number as text) to each slide.
