PowerPoint .ppt files over the web - how to open in NOTES view

Hi there,
We are trying to access .ppt files in web site via a
browser link and seem to get files opening in differing
views - mostly full screen in a slide show. I need
the .ppt file to open in Notes view every time. Is there
a way to force this? Doesn't seem that saving in notes
view assures it will always open that way. By the way,
this is PowerPoint 2000.
