PowerPoint projected slideshows with simultaneous notes on compute

Is it possible to project a PowerPoint slideshow for an audience while
simultaneously seeing the notes version on my laptop? I have PowerPoint 2002
and 2003. Logically, it seems as if I should be able to do this -- afterall
why have "notes" if one can't see them during the presentation -- but I have
never been able to figure out how to do it.

You can use Presenter View(Slide Show > Set up Show > Show presenter view) to
do so.
